...again.
Hi,
I would like to know when the next MP's surgery is taking place, as I need to clarify 'various inaccuracies', as Richard Graham would put it, in a letter he handed to me at a surgery in 2014.
In particular, I would like to know the reason for Richard Graham blocking emails from me his secretary, Sarah Cuthbert, because in his letter, this appears to be conflated with allegations of harassment, involving my visits to the College Street office, when it was actually the block he admitted to in the letter which necessitated the visits in the first place, though they still didn't get me an answer.
The emails blocked from receipt concerned the refusal to approve a comment by me in a blog entry about the Gloucester City Homes housing transfer. There was nothing about this comment, which I've included below, that should have prevented it from being approved, yet in his letter, your employer claims that comments on his blog are 'invariably abusive. Mine proves otherwise, and his only excuse for rejecting it was that I am 'not normally shy to e mail'. Is that a reasonable excuse for such a rejection?
Even worse, he then claims that he is removing 'any ability for online comments' as 'a direct response to one constituent (you), who has plagued my secretary with telephone calls [not true], e mails and a tape recording at our office entrance which I regard as harassment of a public servant doing her duty'. How is the former a 'direct response' to the latter, when my requests for information concerned a block which was instigated before the perfectly acceptible blog comment? A direct response would have been an explanation for the email block, preferably with an apology to me, and also to Sarah Cuthbert, since it seems, as she claimed to know nothing about the block, that Richard Graham did not bother to inform her of it, leading to the visits he alleges were harassment (I made no phone calls whatsoever). Or did Sarah Cuthbert know all about the block, but claim otherwise?
I'd like a proper explanation for why my MP is so cavalier about communications from his constituents, and so determined to prevent them? It would also be helpful to know if he has ever reported the 'invariably abusive' comments, and if not, why not?

This was all necessary, surely, because the city council were forbidden to borrow money to fund home repairs and new homes. So the crucial question is, why was it wrong for them to do this, but fine for Gloucester City Homes, which used to be, in fact still is, under the council’s control?
It’s very droll, these remarks about getting all this for the price of a few cups of tea, but what is the real cost, when the years of complaints by tenants about GCH’s poor performance are swept under the carpet to get that precious approval?
