Hi to anyone browsing, or following the link I'm about to post to Twitter (and maybe Facebook),
I've been close, as I so often am these days, to jacking in any interest in politics, local or otherwise. It's not, as several police oficers have implied in their efforts to put a cap on my involvement in community matters, something I have enough time for, much as I've tried to make the time.
So , in a 'plague on both your houses' sense, I'm putting out the invitation, as I would have done weeks earlier if I'd felt more up to it, to any supporters of political groups, or of none, to express their views. I shan't censor, not even the word 'crap' or 'damn', as some local papers do. You can even post 'Lord Rothermore' (classy, The Citizen).
This really is an effort to see if, without the sense of treading on eggshells experienced when posting on 'responsible' media, people might find their own level of maturity, and we (well, you) can judge if that is necessariy a bad thing if it's sometimes (relatively) low. You might like to comment on who is making best, or worst use of the internet, on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
You can post to a thread, or even start one, as a guest, so no need to register. Feel free to do either, on any topic even loosely related to Gloucestershire politics, and maybe throw a spotlight on some of the murkier aspects of the upcoming elections
